Tex The T Rex My Spyro Fan Character-Rough Sketch

I was in the creative and drawing mood today so i whipped up a quick rough sketch of a new character that i had the idea of MONTHS ago xD .

I had this idea of creating a non-dragon Spyro Fan Character awhile ago but i wasn't sure what i wanted to do. I had about 3 or 4 ideas and then all of a sudden a T Rex popped up into my mind and i loved it so i went with it lol.

This awesome characters name is Tex and he is a T Rex . He lives in the Dino Mines world and if you know Spyro then that's the level in the game Spyro Year Of The Dragon. He was the runt of the litter so he's a lot smaller then the average T Rex that you see in that world. He's only about 6 inches taller then Spyro and that's as tall as he's going to get. He was originally a member of the dinosaur gang in that world (can't remember the name of the gang if there was one), but he flipped over to the good side and helps out friends when he can.

Since the Dino Mines has a western theme i decided to give Tex a similar look also with some accessories that the enemy dinosaurs have in that level like the bandana and hat.He is wearing a Gun Belt with a holder in each side. On his right side he has a gun, but on his other side he has a grappling hook. Since he's so short and he can't jump very well he uses the Grappling hook to get to high places.

I gave Tex 3 fingers because I'm not sure how he could operate the gun and grappling hook with 2 fingers so he grew an extra finger lol. I might change it to 2 but I'm not sure yet. For his attacks he can shoot his gun, but when he runs out of ammo he will run toward the enemy and headbutt them and if he uses his grappling hook to get to a high place he can headbutt an enemy from the air kinda like what Spyro does in the games.

I really hope you like this character because i love him so much . He's so cool. I don't know if I'm going to color this sketch because it doesn't look very Classic Spyro style to me so I'll probably have to redraw him in the proper style.
